Your Rising Sign Has Homework This Eclipse

On August 12th, a total solar eclipse hits 20° Leo. It's the first eclipse on a new nodal axis, Leo and Aquarius, and it's not asking the same thing of everyone.

Most eclipse content treats this like a horoscope: one paragraph, twelve sun signs, same vague "big shifts are coming" energy for everybody. That's not how it actually works. Eclipses land in specific houses of your chart, and which house depends on your rising sign, not your sun sign. If you don't know your rising sign, it takes about a minute to look up, and it's worth doing before this one.

Every rising sign has one house being asked to release something, and the opposite house calling something in. Not a vibe. A specific place in your life the eclipse is pointing at.

So I built the ritual for each one. Twelve of them, one per rising sign, using traditional astrological house meanings, not the softened, wellness-blog version. Real ingredients. Real actions. Things you actually do, not affirmations you read and forget.

A few examples of what's inside:

• Writing a name on a candle so it burns away first, leaving what you're keeping revealed longest as the wax goes down.

• Burying a paper naming what you've been chasing, then planting seeds in the same spot, no promise either one takes root.

• Layering ingredients in a jar, sealing it, and flipping it, so the axis physically reverses along with the eclipse.
